The idea of DIY Prints arouses from interacting with our current customers in the customization business. Coyote T-shirts & More, which is a family own business, has so many customers that are doing similar business of customizing the products with their own artwork.

During the unfortunate lockdowns from COVID breakout, many talented employees lost their jobs, but that free time gave rise to their hidden talent which is art. Many of them can paint, create designs, and create logos. When we came in touch with them, we encourage them to build their own website and sell the products customized by their artwork. We introduce a program for them, where they can order customized products with their own artwork, while protecting their artwork not being misused, and sell those products on their website to generate revenue. Of course, when they sell these products, they must make money, so in our program, we are selling them customized products at heavily discounted prices so that everyone can make money.

As running a business with the help of family members, we don’t see other businesses in similar fields as competitors, we see them as extended family and have always made sure that all the family members grow. A win-win situation is the best approach to grow in the business.

We help our extended family members in customizing their own blank products, using all the techniques that we offer at our Calgary location like Silkscreen printing, Embroidery, Laser engraving, Vinyl transfer, Digital printing including Direct garment printing, UV printing, and printing on transfers. By building this website, separate from our existing customizing website, our focus is to serve similar businesses, that don’t require to invest in heavy printing equipment and their supplies. They simply upload their artwork by selecting a required sized template. We will print them or make embroidery patches that can be applied to blank products using heat and pressure. This is an even cheaper way to customize a product for your business as after getting those transferable print sheets or patches, you can apply them by yourself to the products at home. You can use a small format heat press that doesn’t acquire much space in your basement or garage. You can even use a household iron for small print transfers.
